JEE Main 2017 Cut-Off – Category-Wise (Gen/OBC/SC/ST)
JEE Main 2017 Cut-Off along with the result will be declared on 27th April 2017. The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is the main conducting authority of the JEE Main 2017 examination. This exam will be conducted for those aspirants seeking admission in top engineering institutions of the country. Candidates will be admitted to B.Tech and B.Arch courses through JEE Main. On the basis of cut-off marks, students will get admission in various government and private institutions. Here in this article, we are providing details regarding JEE Main Cut-Off 2017 including last year cut off marks, result, counselling, rank list, etc.
JEE Main 2017 Cut-Off
The CBSE Board will release the cut-off through online mode only. The cut-off is the minimum marks required to appear in the JEE Advanced exam. Cut-off marks will be different for different categories. Cut-off marks will depend upon several factors such as exam difficulty level and number of students appeared in the examination. Candidate who score marks more than the cut off marks will be considered qualified in JEE Main 2017. Only qualified candidates will be eligible for admission. In the year 2016, total top two lacs scorers were eligible to appear in the next round (JEE Advanced). Here we have mentioned the expected JEE Main Cut-off 2017:

JEE Main Result 2017
JEE Main 2017 Result will be released on 27th April 2017 followed by the official Cut-Off, rank (AIR & category-wise). Candidates those have appeared JEE Main 2017 examination, are still waiting for their result. However, they have checked their answer key and estimated their result and score. Aspirants can get their actual score and their result on 27th April 2017 via online by entering their login credentials with official site.
JEE Main 2017 Result – Available on 27th April
To check results, Candidates would have to visit the official link (will be given above) of JEE Main result and enter their roll number and date of birth in the specified space. After pressing the submit button, they would get their result. One should retain minimum 2-3 copies of his/her result for further use in admission procedure.
JEE Main Counselling 2017
After releasing result on 27th April, the rank list will be released in the last week of June. On the basis of this rank list, the counselling procedure will be started. JEE Main 2017 Counselling will be scheduled after the releasing of JEE Advanced AIR and JEE rank list. The counselling procedure will be started from the 3rd week of June to 3rd week of July. JEE Main 2017 Rank List
After the result declared, the authority will release All India Rank (AIR) and category rank on same date (27th April 2017). The AIR will be considered by the respective counselling authorities for admissions in NITs, IIITs and other government and private institutions. On the basis of marks obtained in the JEE Main exam and 12th/ equivalent exam a merit list will be prepared for admission in engineering & architecture courses. The merit list will be drawn separately for each category.
